ABOUT US

The Iowa Racquetball Association (IRA) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization chartered by the United States Racquetball Association.  Our mission statement is as follows: "To promote, improve and expand the sport of racquetball in Iowa."  We will do so by hosting State and National tournaments, holding clinics with a focus on encouraging juniors to participate in racquetball, purchasing equipment for new players, sending e-mails and updating our website with news about Iowa racquetball.  We will be continually raising funds to assist in carrying out our mission statement.

The IRA was revived in September 2012, and is formed with seven active members: Rob Paulsen (President), Susan Acoymo (Vice President), Dan Horner (Secretary), Josh Paul (Treasurer), Jeff Burbank (board member), Mike Gleason (board member) and Andy Pearson (board member). The IRA holds a minimum of quarterly meetings.  Want to know what's been discussed?  Check out our meeting minutes listed at the bottom of this page.

Here are just a few things the IRA has accomplished since September 2012...
